Be Inspired #160: Halloween Home Tour

Hi Everyone, and Welcome to Be Inspired!
You can tell that we all love Fall, and Halloween
'cause the talent and inspiration is over the top!
Let's take a peek!

I read in one of the comments at Amanda's from Dixie Delights  that she needed her own Halloween magazine, and they are right. I just couldn't stop with picking photos, each room and space is decked out with wonderful ideas. Here is Amanda's fun Halloween House Tour.

(remember to pin images from the original post please)

The oh-so-talented Judy from French Laundry
shared how she created this Theater of Dreams.

What an amazing find! Amber from Junkaholics Unanimous'

I think a gallery wall is a wonderful way to mix elements.
Check out this Art Wall Assemblage from Revi at Revisionary Life.

Mindi from My Love 2 Create
came up with such a super cute Trick or Treat Apothecary Jar,
from a couple of repurposed items.

WOW, I'm crazy for this Moss and Vine Pumpkin Urn
from Holly at  Down to Earth Style.
You'll love her decorated front porch!

Eeeeck, I love Susan's understated "keep it simple" Rustic Fall Mantel
 from Must Love Junk!

Pam from White Ironstone Cottage

They're Back.....

My snow owls from last year have flown back onto the mantel for October.
If you didn't see how I came up with them, then click here.

I just made some space for them instead of redoing the whole thing...
I'm a lazy "mantel-scaper".

They DO cause a little ruckus and make a mess with all that glitter.

Oh, and they have a new friend this year.
An owl pillow decided to join the fun.

Remember the Give Away with Elliott-Heath Designs not long ago?
you can have one too!

Be sure and come back tomorrow.
I have wonderful Give Away planned,

Be Inspired #159: Farmhouse Porch Decor

Welcome to Be Inspired!

Right now I'm sort of in "limbo" with the roof overhaul. The roof is done and it turned out great, but the new gutter system won't go in until next week, so that means that I STILL can't do any outdoor decorating! I'm so thankful for the new roof, but shoot, it's messing with my outdoor Fall plans!

So I'm having to live vicariously through all of you out there. When I saw Denise's amazing Farmhouse Fall Porch Decor from Pink PostcardI just had to imagine sitting out there and enjoying it all. So many fun areas and elements on her porch: from the wonderful porch swing with great Fall pillows to the Baker's Rack. I love it all!

How fun is this?
Amber's found deer looks right at home in this great vignette.
Check out the Harvest Mantel and Woodland Pets at
Junkaholics Unanimous.

Suzanne from Bits of Me used beautiful drying Hydrangeas and naturals
with this great old tin, for an amazing floral arrangement.

You'll want to check out this mega Barnwood Chalkboard from
Stephanie at Rose Petals and Rust
love the ladder too!

Peggy from Garden House Living rescued an old basket
with a great burlap and stenciled liner.
Love that ribbon fringe!

And here are two fun Fall "Wreaths":

Grain Sieve Wreath from Melinda at The Refeathered Roost

and Julie from Tattered Tiques
with her wreath made from Bushel Basket Lids
I've not seen this before and I thought it was super cool way
to use a vintage base for something unique and different.

Elizabeth from Pine Cones and Acorns
has my mouth watering for Pumpkin Tortellini.

And take a look at Kathy's Autumn Spice Cake
from A Delightsome Life...yum.

thanks gals, for all the inspiration!

And, thanks so much to each of you who took the time to link up with a backlink already in your post last week. It was so nice visiting, seeing a link there. I don't like having to jump through hoops, so this week I'm going back to the regular link up. Please, just take a minute to link back to this post. Remember, I can't feature you if there isn't a link within your individual post.

Hope you'll join in for the Fabulous Fall Fun!

Have a great weekend,

It's Officially Fall here in the Ozarks...

Are you ready?

Holy Peter Pumpkin Eater, I'm officially on Fall Inspiration Overload!!

The last two days have been non-stop Fall Open Houses with more to come next weekend. We're certainly blessed to have so many great vintage shops in this area, and I've been trying to hit all of them. Thank goodness, this was a better week than last week, 'cause if I would have had to sit these out I would have been one unhappy camper.

These photos are from Leola's Home and Garden Open House in Ozark, Missouri. Their Open House is going strong, so if you get a chance go by, I'm sure the shop looks different today than these photos Thursday evening. Stuff was flying out the door, and some of it flew out with me!

So, here are some pics, I have more coming tomorrow, so be sure and come back by to see the rest. Remember, you can click on the image and then click again to get a closer look at all the goodies. There are so many great ideas here. These gals are the cream of the crop!

Yes, that's a skeleton hanging from the chandy!

My fave of the evening, this little goat cart filled
with pumpkins and Fall goodies.
(no, this didn't come home with me)

(see that white tureen? Now THAT came home with me)
thanks Kenda!

(Love the wallpaper paste brushes hanging inside the frames)

(and their signature umbrellas hanging from the ceiling)

If you want to see more from Leola's Fall Open Houses,
just type in "Leola's" on the search box on the sidebar.

P.S. Don't forget to enter Becky's Give Away

More coming tomorrow...
