A Spring Potpourri at All About Home Link Party #86

Hi Friends, Welcome to the All About Home Link Party.
Thankyou for taking the time to come by
and share your week with us.

Another month has passed and April is here. I hope you had a wonderful Easter week. We had so many wonderful links with beautiful Easter Inspiration this spring. I wish we would have had more time to celebrate Easter. I really love having it later in April. We may put the bunnies away, but hey, there's a lot more spring inspiration out here! So glad you're here with us.

There's a Bunny in That Basket!

Hi Friends, I thought I'd share a few last minute Easter snaps with you all.
In my decor book, the only thing better than "a bunny"
is a bunny in a basket...
or on a tray, or drawer, or in a crate.
You know, some kind of cute vintage container
to keep it corralled and surrounded by flowers, eggs, moss, or veggies.

(It's a little hard to make out, but that's a brass rabbit mold on the shelf)

Farmtable Vintage Bucket with Tulips

Do you have a spot that causes you to be continually thinking about the next fun change-up? The farm table in the Garden Room is one of those spots for me. After all the Easter bunnies and forsythia were put away, I wanted to use this big bundle of white faux tulips before (real tulips) were a thing of the past. Spring flowers and shrubs just don't last long enough!

All About Home #37

Hi Friends and Welcome,

We had a great turnout this last week. Thanks so much for coming by and joining in on the party. It's a high point of my week to see all the great ideas and wonderful decor and recipes that you all bring to the table. This is such a difficult time for all of us in so many different ways, and I'm so grateful that we can reach out and encourage each other!

Rainy Day Busy-ness

Hello, my friends...

This is a bit of a random post, but I wanted to share a few pics of what I've been up to around here. I felt the motivation to change out my Holiday Cupboard china from green transferware to my French Faience. And here in the Dining Room, I haven't shown you my sweet little ceramic rabbit tureen that I made many years ago, and has been here for Easter.

All About Home #36

Hi Friends and Welcome,

We're finally back on a warming trend. Real Spring weather instead of down to freezing every night and cold rain. Brrr. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find a few annual flowers like impatiens and geraniums to bring in some color. I'm ready for some Spring garden inspiration. How about you all? Thanks so much for coming by and joining in on the link party!

Spring Thing in the Hearth Room

Hello everyone, hope you're well and keeping your sanity. (I'll get back to you all on that one...)
I took a lot of pics several weeks ago when I was decorating for Spring and Easter. The Hearth Room didn't get Easter decor; no bunnies or things, but more of a Spring theme. Actually it hasn't changed too much since early March. Lambs and sheep are a favorite of mine, so the little bench in front of the sofa has one of my sheep and a twiggy basket of Paperwhites.

All About Home #35

Hi Friends and Welcome,

We're so glad you're here for the party. I personally really appreciate each and every one of you that comes by to visit and share what you've been up to each week. I try to visit each person who links up, but I've been limited on the amount of time I can spend sitting at the computer, as I'm waiting for the go-ahead on my cervical spine surgery. Please just know Amber and I thank all of you for coming by and joining in on the party each week. I hope you all had a blessed Easter Week.

Easter's on it's Way in the Entry

Celebrating Easter this year will be different, but maybe even more special as we seek spiritual hope and guidance during this uncertain time. When we watch the news or think too much about what's going on in the world around us, we might be considering putting some things on hold. Blogging about decor might seem frivolous to some but helps many of us stay plugged in with others and social. And... it's a wonderful way to stay positive and inspired.

Be Inspired #134: April Showers

Maybe I should change that title to "April Snow Showers" instead. Good grief, it's only 35 degrees here in SW Missouri as I type this morning! I'm not the weatherman, but I'm hoping that this cold Spring means that we won't be having a full summer of 100+ temps. yuck...I hate that kind of heat. OK, so enough complaining about the weather outside, when we can enjoy all the fun of Spring inside Mary's Potting Shed. Mary always wows me with her wonderful posts. I'd like to move right into that adorable potting shed of hers!

Here are some fun links from last week's party.
Thanks everyone, for coming by to bring the fun.
Remember, Be Inspired is open for all your inspiration, not just vintage.

Ornate Splendor just scream Spring and make me think
of those wonderful lilacs that will be blooming soon!

She even made the cake to celebrate a friend's birthday.

with this wonderful room full of great color and pattern.
That bookcase really sets the mood.

I just love the color combo of the oranges and green-y blues.
