Bosom Buddies

Sorry, I just couldn't resist...
I thought these vintage lovelies displaying jewelry at
 Leola's Christmas Open House
definitely needed some "air time".

Hmmm...they look "well loved"...

Cool jewels too...

Now that I have your attention, just wanted to remind you that
Vintage Inspiration Friday
is still going on, and that my
All Things French Give Away
is just getting started.
Just scroll down to join in the fun!

Fall Comes to the "Creek"

It's Here!
Fall has arrived at my Spring Creek booth space.

Now if you don't count the temperature outside,
or the fact that it still says August on the calendar,
you wouldn't know the difference.

I grabbed my man with the muscle
(that would be the two-wheel dolly)
and we headed to Ozark to make the transformation.

While we were there several other dealers were putting
their own touch of fall on the place.

OK, I've said it a million times before,
and I will a million times more
but...
I just LOVE FALL!

I have renewed energy
and that feeling of wanting to cozy up the nest takes over.

I love the earth colors and subtle tones,
but I also love a big blast of
 ORANGE!

Nature inspired dishes, furnishings, and accessories
are all scattered around the space.

As you can see, I don't take myself too serious,
I can't resist an owl.

Vintage Postcard Prints and Magazine Cover Prints
are a staple in my space.

While I was setting up, a well-dressed retired couple came by.
The lady was really interested in my vintage window with the bird prints.
She bent down and examined it with a thoughtful, loving, and appreciative eye.

She got her husband's attention
and of course he had to comment on the fact
that he could " make something just like that"
( how many of us have heard that remark before?)
... with some photographs of birds that he had.

She shook her head in dismay,
and informed him that it just wouldn't be the same.

I hope she comes back for it without the hubby.

And since I don't want a "nekkid" dress form,
I'll be having a few pieces of my jewelry there also.

The Tea Room and store look especially fun this time of year.
There are a lot of great dealers with a wonderful mix of merchandise.

Hope you can make it by.

I'm linking up with Kathleen for White Wednesday

and just a reminder about the first
Vintage Inspiration Friday
next Thursday evening
September 2!

Hope you're having a wonderful week,

Meet "My Double"

Let my introduce you to
"My Double"

Yes, she's quite the petite little thing.
Found her a few weeks ago at an antique mall.

I just wish she was "my double"!
I don't think I'll see this waist size anytime soon.
But I'm showing her off for
Silver Sunday.

Look hard,
there's some "silver" in there.
Her hardware is "silvery"
so I hope that qualifies.

And here's a few of my key necklaces
that I've been making for the shop in Ozark.

Old keys with just a little "bling".

My one year Blog Anniversary is this week
