Hi Friends, I thought I'd re-share a post from a few years ago (2019) of a Thanksgiving Blog Hop that I participated in that was full of great seasonal ideas and inspiration. It's a bit of a Thanksgiving Home Tour from that year.

I won't say it's been a quick process, but I did have one area that was relatively easy because I had a few of the elements already in place... The mantel in the Hearth Room.

Farmhouse Thanksgiving in the Garden Room

Hello Friends, even though many of us have moved on to Christmas decor and posts, I still have several photos of this year's Thanksgiving decor that I want to share. I like to keep a visual diary of my holiday decor here on the blog. That way I can look back next year for some inspiration, and maybe some of you might like to take a peek, too. Vintage Step Ladder on the Back Porch

Hi Friends, so glad you're here today. First off, I could subtitle this post as

Celebrating Thanksgiving in the Holiday Cupboard

Hi there Friends, I'm feeling a bit behind on getting all my Thanksgiving posts out in a timely manner. In truth, this season rolls by way too fast for me. I love Thanksgiving and love to savor this time of year, when the temps are finally cooling off and a warm woolen blanket is welcome in the evening and when enjoying a cup of something hot on the back porch.

French Country Thanksgiving in the Dining Room

Hi Friends, I hope you're having a lovely weekend, wherever you may be. 

I'm still sharing Thanksgiving Decor here,

because well, it's still the first week of November

and we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.

So... I'm still enjoying all the vintage goodness

that late Fall brings.

Cozying Up the Back Porch for Fall

November is here and it's time to bring out the warm snuggly blankets, long underwear, and cups of yummy hot cider. My wish for cooler, sweater weather has arrived and plunked itself down right here in Southern Missouri. It seems like each year the summers get longer, but then poof... overnight we plunge from the upper 80's into the 50's with an overnight jet stream.

French Country Corner in the Dining Room

Hello Friends, well, it's the end of October, and "Fall" has finally "fallen" 

here in SW Missouri.  We didn't have what I call a normal fall transition 

in the weather. There really haven't been but a few days that were 

bright and sunny and in the 60's. We went from upper 80's to cold and rainy

 and 50's in just a matter of a week. I guess many of you are dealing 

with the same strange weather systems. 

Thanksgiving to Christmas in the Hearth Room

Seems like the last 10 years or so, I've been putting up the Christmas trees a few weeks before Thanksgiving to get a little jump on decorating for Christmas; at least since I've been blogging. Once they're up then it's much easier for me to get some inspiration on how I want to decorate, whether that's colors, or theme, or to try something new. By blogging standards, I'm late to the game, but behind the scenes I've secretly been thinking "Christmas!".

Warm Woolens in the Garden Room

It's November; mostly cold and rainy, with gray days and a multitude of Brown. Most of the leaves have come down and been mulched by our trusty yard guy with his mower. The beautiful Maple trees with their oranges and reds are long gone, as are the lovely golds of the Hickories that cover our front yard. It seems like overnight we are on the road to winter. 

Christmas Trees and Pumpkins: Can They Be Friends?

I'm sure a lot of us are trying to get started on our Christmas decorating even though it's the week before Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving and don't want to skip it, but at the same time I want to start bringing in some Christmas decor. I found this little tree at Target and ordered a "two pack" online. It came early last week and I was absolutely ready to find a spot for it. I'm hoping the second one will work on the front porch.

That's what is best for us this year,

Using Vintage Frames for a Thanksgiving Mantel

Hello everyone! Hallelujah, it's November and so close to Thanksgiving! And we're all looking forward to celebrating, then moving in to the long awaited Christmas Season. Today I'm joining in with a great group of vintage-loving friends who are sharing some ideas and inspiration on how we use Vintage Frames in our home and seasonal decor.  Since it's mid-November I'm going to share my Thanksgiving mantel and show how I've used vintage frames for a fun seasonal mantel.
