White Wednesday at the Beach Party

I 'm loving these blog parties. It stretches my imagination. So, last minute again, I wanted to find a way to combine something "Beachy" with "White".
I put together this little "Cottage Vignette" in my sunroom, because the light there is just so natural. It's on the north side of the house, so it's bright without being harsh.

This little wicker basket is holding some sentimental treasures...dried roses and hydrangeas from my younger daughter's wedding, a conch shell that my mother used as a doorstop for 50 years, (my Dad found it on a beach during his Navy years) and a little nautilus shell I recently found at a flea market. The two shabby white candlesticks were once electified and the linen is an old French piece.

And this is the closest I was to the "Beach" this summer.
Soaking up some vitamin D in my back yard.

Click on the links below to see other great ideas for the "Beach" and "White".

What a perfect spot for your basket of beach and sentimental treasures.

How wonderful to have the dried flowers from your daughter, and the conch that your dad found for your mom.

The Beach Parties are so much fun to visit! I had to split mine into 2 parties, cuz I think I found too many photos! I'll be posting the other tomorrow. Hope to see you at one or both of my parties :o)

Blessings & Aloha!

Fabulicious vignette!!! I love it! And I love the photo of your feet at the pool. Our pool is the closest I've been to a beach this summer too. I miss living close to the beach. But I don't miss the sand.

Hi Debra,
I love how you combined both White Wednesday with Beach Party. Your "Cottage Vignette" is beautiful! That must be one big and heavy conch to serve as a door stop! It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing and for dropping by at A Petite Cottage. Have a nice day.

What a pretty combination! My favorite is the ironwork with roses(of course).
