Anyone else out there that wants to grab ahold and slow down October? It's my favorite month of the year and I want to be able to savor each moment! The leaves haven't even changed yet and October is slipping away. Christmas decor and projects have already started showing up in blogland. OKay, I get it, I just want to drink in the colors of Fall without Santa Claus banging on the door!

Hard to believe that we're heading into the last week of September! We're back to a few days of upper 80's right now, but I know we'll be back to the mid-70's soon. I'm still in recovery mode after having lumbar spine fusion a couple of weeks ago and I really wasn't prepared for what that would be like. I'm using a walker and I basically have to rely on my husband for all the little things. Any little "off move" can cause pain and put things at a standstill. But I can see small improvement each day.
