Spring Traditions at All About Home #186

Hi Friends, this week was my Birthday week, and our older daughter and her fiancé came down for a quick visit and dinner out. The weather is on an upward trend toward nicer days and warmer temps, but typical first week of March... 30 to 75 degrees and back, in just a few days. Of course we'll have some cooler weather up and down till the beginning of May. Several days of outside work improved the looks of the yard (thankyou hubby!) And a visit from our new goosey friend for the kids to enjoy. These aren't my pics, because I haven't been able to get a good one of him. He's larger than his Canadian Geese friends, with different markings, and very handsome. He and his mate (regular Canadian goose) come by at least once a day to visit and snack on birdseed.

My guy has orange feet, though.

  4. Happy, springy features this week! And Happiest of Birthdays to you, Debra! So glad you could celebrate with your daughter. Your goose is not the ordinary Canadian kind, but since you said his mate is the Canadian variety, I wonder what the variety is. That's interesting.
We're having some great spring temps, but the next few nights they dip dangerously low for peony perennials already emerging. I think I'll cover mine.
Have a great week, and I hope you celebrate all week long!
