Be Inspired #167

First of all I want to thank all of you that came by last week and linked up with the party. Thanksgiving week is such a hectic time, so thanks so much for coming to the party! I enjoyed seeing what you all have been up to, and I know that we had lots of visitors over the weekend. Whenever I'm feeling a little low on inspiration, all I have to do is click thru the links of this party, you guys are so creative! Here are a few links from last week:

Rita from Mammabellarte has been busy painting, glittering, and sewing
as co host for her wonderful California event, The Vintage Marketplace.
I thought you'd enjoy seeing a few of her Christmas Creations.
Susan from Must Love Junk has this amazing chippy door on her mantel.
It's reversible, creating a wonderful backdrop for her Natural Christmas Mantel

Love this adorable Hoopy Holiday Snowman
from Nici at Posed Perfection

The perfect classic is Christmas Red and White in the Kitchen
from Carolyn at Aiken House and Gardens.
I'm in love with that metal picnic hamper!

Each year I see these Vintage Jewelry Christmas Trees  and I want to make one.
This one from Betsy at Coastal Colors
is framed beautifully in a vintage gold frame.
Perfect for a little Christmas Bling!

Elizabeth from Blue Clear Sky wanted something different this year and she chose  to sew up some gorgeous White Denim bags for her armoire doors. You need to hear where she found the fabric, great upcycle!

shared the recipe for Nutella Pumpkin Pie.
Pumpkin and Nutty Chocolate?
yes, please.

thanks so much, gals!

    Be Inspired #165

Hard to believe it's almost Thanksgiving! I'm having that age old struggle of still retaining some semblance of "Thanksgiving" while trying to get started on Christmas decorating. One less week to decorate and enjoy Christmas is not fair.

Abraham Lincoln set the proclimation for a National Day of Thanksgiving and Praise as the 4th Thursday of November. For all his good intentions, clearly Mr. President didn't have to plan the festivities, cook the food, decorate for Christmas or buy the presents, all while trying to really enjoy the Season. It's too close to Christmas and not enough time to "regroup" plans and family. (Just a little fussing at how men randomly make the decisions...just sayin')

Oh well, not to be a complainer...
let's see some fun from last week!

    Chalkboard Turkey Vignette
    from Katie at Upcycled Treasures

    Kristin, from Sophia's Decor gave us two wonderful Fall posts;
    Outdoors Autumn Breakfast

You'll love Kristin's new Dining Room and her drapes are amazing!

    from Cindy at Custom Comforts

    Distressed Donna Downhome

Gold Glitter Candles in China Cups
    from Lydia at Pudel Designs

    at Nancy's Daily Dish

from Jenna at Rain On A Tin Roof

Anjana from the Corner of Happy and Harried

    Be sure and check out

Lot's of great stocking stuffers to choose from!

    So glad you're here!

Hope you'll join in today for the party!
