Be Inspired# 173

I knew this week would be crazy and it has been. Last minute switcheroos on coffee table and accent tables have had me busy doing some painting instead of finishing packing. Amazing how furniture grows from the showroom floor by the time it gets to your home! But things are coming together. Some of you were amazed that I could get things packed in a few short weeks. The answer is that we are only taking a little of our furniture and "stuff" over to the new little house. The rest will go into storage or be part of a sale. I have several months of packing left to do once we move out. So no, I'm not super woman...

Hope 2014 is getting off to a good start at your house. We have a fresh blanket of snow which makes for such a pretty picture, but I'll be here packing my studio today. In case you've missed my last couple of posts, we have big changes coming with this New Year. We'll be downsizing and leasing a smaller house in order to do updates to this one before putting it on the market. We're planning to move within the next month or so. I'm hoping you'll be along for all the changes and craziness. I may need a hug and a "snap out of it" slap in the face occasionally. LOL!!

We've all been tweaking that Early Fall and Halloween decor, changing it over to what I think is a more simple natural look for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving's roots are based in the bringing in and sharing of the Harvest, and being grateful for God's abundance and blessing. The proverbial apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the case of my daughters, they both love vintage. In the case of my older daughter, who has a degree in computer illustration, she not only loves pillows, but has a fondness for black cats.

She doesn't know this yet, but this pillow may possibly disappear.
