What's on the Sideboard for Thanksgiving

Now that Thanksgiving is here,
I guess I better share what's been sitting on the sideboard this month.

My big Mr. Turkey got a paint job a few years ago,
during one of my "white" rampages...

Last month I brought in this great window from the garage stash to use for my crows, but I like it so much I think I may keep it here for a little while. It's a good backdrop for my ever changing seasonal print du jour. This month I used one of the prints I found at Robin's Vintage Suitcase Fall Open House. Not very "Thanksgiving-y" but love the muted colors of the birds on the branch.

One of my collection of Turkey platters, this one is Johnson Brothers.

My vintage pie holder has a variety of turkey planters and salt and peppers.

And I've loved using this child's suitcase to anchor the Fall vignettes here.

I'm behind on things due to the cold I've been dealing with,
but I'm already thinking about what I want to do here for Christmas.

I'll be putting up
Vintage Inspiration Friday
early this week, on Wednesday evening.
That way we'll make a weekend of it.

Remember next week we start our Christmas fun.

Hope you're week is going well,
the kids will be here Wednesday evening.
better get movin.!!

  15. Hello Debra~I'm b-a-c-k to makin' my visits (finally)! I just wanted to take a minute at this season of renewed hope and gratitude to personally thank you for your visit and kind words, especially with the loss of my kitty Angel. I wish I could convey to you how much you helped me at such a fragile time.
I look forward to stopping by your charming spot. We share so many of the same creative passions and design elements. I adored your Thanksgiving decor. Classic and vintage compliment each other so well.

I've no doubt there's more fun in store for us on this blogging journey.

    Sweet Wishes,
