Sweet Blossoms for Silver Sunday

Our neighbors behind us just happen to have a huge crepe myrtle
that just happens to hang waaaay over our back fence.
Lucky me.
So now I can enjoy them too.

My silver water pitcher,
a small silver tray that at one time held our mail,
and my silver wedding hand mirror...

white vintage Sunday gloves
and a crucifix and medal necklace
are all together to enjoy a summer Sunday.

The crepe myrtle's sweet scent fills the late summer air.

Delicate white buds and blossoms

Design Your Own Give Away

What a better way to say thank you to all my great bloggy friends,
and to introduce you to my new Etsy Store,
than to have a

 "Design Your Own" Give Away

I've been filling up the store with some unique new pieces
and I'd love for you to go take a peek and see if there is anything that you'd like.

And the fun thing is this:
As the winner, you get to choose up to $45.00 in jewelry,
 or let me put together something special;
 "designed" by you!

Here are just a few of the pieces I've been working on:

And because I don't want to miss even one

I'd like you to meet Irma
 in her new vintage attire.

She's been my muse and model for my new Etsy Store.
I not only want you to see the jewelry,
but how it compliments your clothing and
the graceful way it can be worn.

So thank you Kathleen,
for always having the party that makes Wednesdays so special!
I'm your biggest fan!

Now, for the Give Away:

You can have up to 3 entries!

1. leave a comment letting me know you're a follower.

2. Go take a peek at my new Etsy store,

 and find something you'd love.
Then let me know you've been there with another comment.

3. And for a 3rd entry, blog or link back to the Give Away on your sidebar.

Remember to please leave a separate comment for each entry,
as I go by the corresponding number.

Thanks so much for sharing all the bloggy love!

Altered Art Party

I have two mediums of art that I love to create with.
Paper collage and repurposed vintage items in jewelry.
So I thought I'd combine the two for this fun party over at

I'm a hopeless Bird Romantic
and I just love any kind of bird prints.

And I've always loved this print of two sisters.
It reminds me of my sister and I.

The paper collage are in my personal stash,
but the jewelry pieces are all for sale
 in my new Etsy Store!
yea...

and

I'm linking back to all the other party gals over at

Next week I'll be announcing my Give Away
to celebrate My Etsy Store Opening.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Debra

It's a Little Bit French!

Recently I found one of the most generous ladies out there.
Rhonda from her beautiful blog, "A Little Bit French"
has an amazing giveaway every Friday.

Yes,
you heard me right.
Every Friday...

And I was fortunate enough to win one of her beautiful give aways.

She is so talented and creative,
so all her giveaways are from her own two hands.

This is a lovely pocket she put together out of old sheet music and scrim.
I'm so glad she did the research to name this wonderful piece of fabric.

And look at all the yummy graphics and lace she stashed in the pretty little pocket!
It's A Little Bit French
Ahhh, I'm in love...

Please go visit and get to know Rhonda,
hope you're having a lovely weekend.

And I've been working on some new jewelry pieces
with pewter crucifixes and medals.
Can't wait for you to see them.
really pretty.

Meet "My Double"

Let my introduce you to
"My Double"

Yes, she's quite the petite little thing.
Found her a few weeks ago at an antique mall.

I just wish she was "my double"!
I don't think I'll see this waist size anytime soon.
But I'm showing her off for
Silver Sunday.

Look hard,
there's some "silver" in there.
Her hardware is "silvery"
so I hope that qualifies.

And here's a few of my key necklaces
that I've been making for the shop in Ozark.

Old keys with just a little "bling".

My one year Blog Anniversary is this week

White Wednesday, a Sneaky Peek

...of my new "big girl booth" items!
I haven't had a chance to actually get in there yet,
but I'm hoping to be in by the middle of March.

So for White Wednesday I thought
I would take you to the garage and give you
some peeks at just a few of the things
 that will be going.

She's not for sale,
but will display some of my jewelry pieces

Have I told you how much I love white wicker?
(I have several pieces there already)

small cabinets

upside down coffee table
and random rusty metal
(it will be right side up at the store!)

Gorgeous white dresser mirror
that needs a little distressing

And I put together a little impromtu vignette
of some of the smalls that I will be taking

I'm just whetting your appetite
for all things romantic and cottage.

A few pieces of pearly jewels

And to just give you a feel...

for what I will be doing.

It's soon to be Spring...
(yeah!)

with all the Open Houses...

So at the moment,
I'm thinking gardeny, girly, all things floral,
and little bouquets...
nestled on a background of White.

Now run on over to Faded Charm
And visit Kathleen,
our hostess with the mostest!

love,
Debra

p.s. Right now because of time constraints I won't be able to do any shipping; hopefully, after I get set up I will be able to list some things for sale.
