Garden Room Farm Table in May

This time of year in late Spring, we just don't know what each day's weather will bring. Even the weather forecasters aren't sure. One day it's sunny and 80, the next day it pours rain all day and is in the 60's. I took these pics in April and wanted to get a few more of the Garden Room this last week, but I decided to just go ahead and share them before tulip-time was over.

Vintage Mini Spring Baskets

I'm ready for Spring, I know most of you all are too. We've had a lot of cold weather here and frequent snow. Not deep snows, but snow none the less. The latest was this afternoon as I'm writing this. So many years we have a warm late winter when all the buds pop out, then a deep freeze will hit and early flowers and buds are killed. I'm hoping that doesn't happen this year. Let's get all the cold weather over and done with, then bring on the sunshine!

French Jardiniere

A few weeks ago, I took the big ivy that had been setting here outside, down to the potting bench to see if some fresh outdoor air might breath some life back into it. But it's looking like that might have not made it any happier. In any case it's outdoors now, and if it wants to be a difficult little houseplant then it will just have to be one outside. I found a new small ivy (they only had one little one) and it's now residing in a small iron jardiniere that's been in the storage room.

Flora and Fern and a "Married Metals" Bench

I mentioned awhile back that Springfield has had several fun new shopping venues open up, and the latest one I want to share with you is Flora and Fern, which is right next door to the new Harrison House Market. It's full of wonderful vintage displays, topiaries, orchids, large and small potted plants and trees, and unique accessories including jewelry.

Coffee Table ReStyle

Hi Friends, a few weeks ago I needed to finally put away all my "Spring" rabbits, bunnies, and whatever... I'd been putting it off cause I hadn't felt so great, but when everyone started talking "Summer" it was obvious that my sweet little Bunny Man Basket needed to be tucked away for next year.
