Blogger's Seasonal Harvest Tour

Hi Everyone, and Welcome to the
2016 Bloggers Seasonal Harvest Home Tour
this week, presented by Cozy Little House

If you've come from Duke Manor Farm,
I'm so glad you're here,
 following along the Party.

Here's the Week's Line Up of Blogs on the Tour.
I'll have links to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's group
at the end of the post.

I want to say first and foremost that I'm so thankful for all of you out there that take time to come visit each week. Just to check in to see what I'm up to and say Hello. Whether you're new to this blog or have been a long time reader, I appreciate you being here and our friendships!

It seems like a Home Tour is the only time I share larger views of our home, so I'll be giving you the "Big Picture" and then you'll be able to see more detailed posts later.  We have a very "open concept" home where the Entry, Dining Room, and Living Room share the same large space divided by the stairway to our lower level with a Family Room and extra bedrooms.

When you walk in the front door, you're greeted by the Entry Console where I try to set the mood for the Season and Theme of the rest of the House. I'm a lover of "vintage", so that always is the underlying concept of my decorating. I love to use old prints and accessories that meld with vintage furniture and a cottage type feel.

Looking to the left of the Entry you'll see the Dining Area.
It's not a big space, but I love to be able to keep things changing
 with the Seasons and Holidays.

These are views looking toward the Living Room
and Kitchen Sitting Area from the Entry.

This year my Fall Mantel is traditional with a touch of vintage,
using painted faux pumpkins in shades of white and gray,
and a few pears and Autumn Leaves for a little color.

An Ethan Allen mirror, Boxwood wreath with a monogram,
and Pottery Barn Lanterns make up the base of my Fall Mantel.

I love using accent pillows to help change up the seasons.
This is a hooked woolen pillow that I grabbed at a crafts fair a few years ago.

We have an Ashley Chesterfield Sofa and Love Seat in a mushroom color that we purchased a few years ago when we downsized. They were a great price and kept with the updated traditional look that I've been leaning toward. Hubby's leather chair is covered with a brown Pendleton blanket for comfort. (Gotta keep those guys happy...)

You can catch the post on my coffee table and favorite urn here.

The TV is in the armoire that we had previously used in our Master Bedroom.
It's curved lines matched better with the curves of the Dining Room furniture.

The Kitchen Sitting Area is my favorite place to decorate. I keep a Baker's Rack here for some vintage garden accents and Seasonal fun, with a wicker chair and settee that gets changed out for the season with quilts and pillows.

An old salvaged door in it's original chippy white paint
has become a place for an antique mirror with a seasonal wreath or door decor.

I'll be sharing more of the Kitchen Sitting Area
and Baker's Rack later this week.

Did You Catch Monday's Group?
