Some News and Thank Yous

In my last post I mentioned that my weekend was a blur.
at the Expo Center here in Springfield,
and if you didn't make it you missed a great show.
It was the first one and they are off to a great start.
Dealers from OK, Kansas City, Dallas...
not to mention some great local dealers like my buds
Brian and Meloney Russell from the Seed Box Antiques.
(photos coming soon!)

Hubbs and I made the rounds this weekend,
So I shopped till I dropped and found some really wonderful things.

These are just a few of the "white" things I grabbed for White Wednesday,
but I have a load of others.

I found a box of really old quilt blocks
that were made from feed sack material.
They need a little soaking,
but I couldn't resist!

They will become pillows and sachets
when I can sit down long enough to make them.

There were a lot of these little embroidered pieces,
but they were stained and I have to work on them.

An old wedding invitation in a vintage frame.

several feed sacks for pillows

these crocheted pillows

And I couldn't resist these bluebird pillow cases.
Ditto for the good soaking....

(gee, do we detect a pillow theme going on here...?)

So now for the news...
I've found a great space at the new Relics Antique Mall
and I move in this weekend!!!!!

I'm running around like that little chicken.
trying to get my act together.

I'll be back for
 Vintage Inspiration Friday
hope you can join in!!!

Now for the "Thank You's!"

for the wonderful box of Valentine goodies,

And Thank You, Suzan from The Old Grey Mare
 for the darling Valentine necklace,
I wore it every day since it arrived!!

I'm linking up with these great parties.
Be sure and drop by for the fun!

Linda at Coastal Charm

Kathleen at Faded Charm

Hope you're having a great week,
no more "Chicken Little"
I'm putting on my superwoman cape right now.

love ya,
Debra

Our snow is melting and it feels like spring here today, but it is just a teaser as we have still a good two months...your purchases look so fun! I am starting to miss my antique space, a little. 45. Oodles of treasures here, Debra... Love the quilt blocks, the botanical prints and that pitcher. I wish there were decent places for me to have my own booth in this neck of the woods. Only other option is to open my own in a leased bldg. I guess. But then I'd have to find someone to run it! dilemma...
