Just had to share...

We all know the blog world is full
 of creative and talented women.
I wanted to take a minute
and say "Thank you" to a few of them.

has a beautiful blog and online store.
If you haven't visited yet
be sure and take a few minutes;
her talent is amazing!

Jill created these wonderful rosettes a few weeks ago
and they were all snapped up before I could buy one.
Thank goodness she quickly made more!
Adorn a pillow, jean jacket, hat...
I'm just adoring mine.

And everyone knows that crazy cajun Jodie,
 from Everything Vintage!
She's been one busy Valentine gal.
She blessed quite a few of us with
her beautiful bounty of love.

Goodies spilling over...

I also know she ate a LOT of chocolate
in the making of these sweet gifts!

has to be the most prolific needle artist in the world.
Honestly I think she must have clones of herself,
or maybe she just never sleeps.
Donna not only is such a talented gal...

But a sweet and giving friend!

Please go check out her blog,
 if you haven't met Donna,
you'll see what I mean!
(she never sleeps....)

Isn't this the sweetest card?
look at the tiny stitching and beads...
too darn cute!
She's also having a wonderful Give Away,
you'll want to enter.

And lastly I want to thank Debra of
who has a great blog
and a wonderful online store.
She awarded me the Sunshine Blog Award!
Don't you just love
the bright daisy and blue sky?

Thank you Debra,
you and your daughter are such a talented team!

I am continually amazed at the talent
and love that's out here.
Thanks for sharing it with me!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

love,
Debra

A Cloche Party

is having another of her wonderful
parties to share our cloches for the season.
My cloches are just hoppin' for Spring to arrive!
so I had to share my little friend who found a home.
He's all decked out for Spring with his polka dot tie,
and is sitting on a tuft of colorful grass.

And of course, "sweet face" must make an appearance.

My Dining Room buffet was still
 celebrating Valentine's Day...

And this little girl was the belle of the ball.

The sideboard found these little
 Lefton Cupids on display.

So head on over to A Stroll Thru Life and say
a big Hello to all the other participants!

Have a wonderful Weekend!
Debra

White Wednesday, a Sneaky Peek

...of my new "big girl booth" items!
I haven't had a chance to actually get in there yet,
but I'm hoping to be in by the middle of March.

So for White Wednesday I thought
I would take you to the garage and give you
some peeks at just a few of the things
 that will be going.

She's not for sale,
but will display some of my jewelry pieces

Have I told you how much I love white wicker?
(I have several pieces there already)

small cabinets

upside down coffee table
and random rusty metal
(it will be right side up at the store!)

Gorgeous white dresser mirror
that needs a little distressing

And I put together a little impromtu vignette
of some of the smalls that I will be taking

I'm just whetting your appetite
for all things romantic and cottage.

A few pieces of pearly jewels

And to just give you a feel...

for what I will be doing.

It's soon to be Spring...
(yeah!)

with all the Open Houses...

So at the moment,
I'm thinking gardeny, girly, all things floral,
and little bouquets...
nestled on a background of White.

Now run on over to Faded Charm
And visit Kathleen,
our hostess with the mostest!

love,
Debra

p.s. Right now because of time constraints I won't be able to do any shipping; hopefully, after I get set up I will be able to list some things for sale.

Vintage Valentine Cards on Silver Sunday

I've been waiting for today for weeks...
Since Joan at Anything Goes Here
announced her Vintage Valentine Party!

I've sneaked in some Valentine photos
 this last week or so,
hope your not tired of all the "love",
and some of the same photos.

As my kitties like to say;
Valentines, Schmalentines.

I'm also linking with Beth
from Gypsy Fish Journal today
to be a part of her monthly party,
Silver Sunday
(can't miss that!)

So I'm including some of my Vintage Valentines
on a large footed silver tray on my
Dining Room buffet,
where all things "holiday" seem to land.

This is a silver necklace that my sweet mom
bought me for Valentines Day this year.
Love the initial and the crown on top.

And a silver bud vase with faux roses.

I found this intricate large Valentine
this summer in St. Louis.
It's supposed to be 3-D,
but I wanted to display it in an old
ornate frame I had been saving.

Here are a few of my vintage Valentine postcards.
The cutie boy here reminds me of my nephew Spence.
(tulips from my sweet sister)

My entry way dresser is holding
another smaller 3-D valentine.
And the pink Hull vase was
a Valentine to myself this year.

And here is my sideboard again,
with another Valentine and
some altered children's Valentines
that I have been playing with.

This framed simple Valentine is an
original from my paternal Grandfather
to my Grandmother, from the early 1920's.
He owned a print shop and this is another of his pieces.
to my Grandmother's Birthday Party.

Have a Sweet and Cozy Valentine Weekend,

Hugs and Love,
Debra

p.s. Thank you all for your sweet comments!
I seem to be having a "time management" issue with
preparing for the new booth opening.
Please just know I love you all and that
each and every comment
blesses me.
