Last Minute Patriotic Fun

As usual, I  have a few more current holiday pics to share with you all.
The Baker's Rack in the Garden Room got a quick mini makeover
with a few July 4th decor pieces.

I'd forgotten about this vintage Sunshine Biscuit tin from the '50's.
(Sorry such a blurry pic)

I recently excavated this cute little cabinet with wee drawers
from a box in my storage room.
A few seed packets with blue flowers just fit.

Remember this?

Flower pots, a vintage blue metal lunch bucket,
and a cardboard sign made a perfect little patriotic display.

I think the blue cardboard sign may have been displayed
in a grocery store as a no-Sunday sales announcement.
If you know anything about something like this please let me know.

You can read about the blue crockery windmill pitcher HERE.
The little mauve teapot is from Wade Pottery in England.

I added flags to the white faux flower mix
here in the entry for a quick patriotic nod.

Big (or not so big) plans for the holiday?
I hope you're having a great July 4th weekend.
Have fun and stay safe.

  3. I really love all your collections, Debra, and the great way you display them. I really did nothing inside this 4th and put all the energy into the outside. I wish I could get out of this lazy spell I seem to be going through nowadays. Enjoy the holiday and stay well..xxoJudy

  4. Debra, it's fun to see your patriotic decor. You have some great old tins! I normally decorate with patriotic things all summer, but didn't put much out this summer. We are in the midst of a remodel, and things are unsettled. Enjoy the weekend!

  5. That's a great collection of Blue things, you need to utilize them more often. I don't think I have seen them before, except for the little drawers, which I have one of that was my mom's! Fun to see this! Sandi
