We Gather Together Blog Hop

Hi Friends, Welcome to We Gather Together Blog Hop hosted by our friend Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home. Amber and I both really love Thanksgiving and I'm so excited to be able to join in with all these other talented ladies to share our ideas and decor in this wonderful Holiday time.

If you're coming from Marty's at A Stroll Thru Life, so glad you're here and hope you'll come back to visit again. I thought I'd just put together a late Fall/Thanksgiving Home Tour, which is a grouping of pics from posts this November.

We can start in the Entry where I have out my "oatmeal" tree with Fall leaves and Hydrangeas in an iron urn, a painted leaf Fall wreath I made a few years ago, and my smaller vintage print, "The Angelus", a painting by Jean Francois Millet. I've used this same vintage print for years for Thanksgiving in all of my past Entry areas.

I don't change up the Living Room with seasonal decor much,
so here are a few pics from earlier in the year.

Here in the Formal Dining Room I'm still using my earlier Fall decor
with the gorgeous Heirloom Needlepoint Pumpkins.

My white ironstone tureen and platter are a staple here on the buffet.

Casual Dining in the Garden Room,
where there's an ever changing seasonal vignette on the farmtable.

Pie Safe Cupboard (aka the Holiday Cupboard) in the Garden Room
filled with Ironstone, Brown Transferware, and Vintage Turkeys.

This time of year I'm using my Brown Plaid Pendleton and Scottish blankets
on my white wicker pieces in the Garden Room with my hooked wool pillows.

The Garden Room is a large sunroom off the Kitchen and Hearth room
where the Casual Dining space and Wicker Sitting Area are located.
It's filled with vintage pieces and collectibles.
Behind the fireplace there is just enough room for the old church pew
and Goat Cart for filled for Fall.

Thanks so much for coming by.
If you're new here I hope you come back again and stay in touch
thru email notifications or on Instagram.

We hope you'll continue on with the Hop and say Hello to the rest of the group. Next stop is Christie from Our Southern Home, where she shares a Thanksgiving Charcuterie Spread. You'll find the links and pics at the bottom of the post, so you can click on each blogger's post.

Happy Thanksgiving Friends,
 now I'm thinking about Christmas!

  8. Debra your rooms are always full of tons of inspiration. I love how you create such beautiful vignettes in every space. So many wonderful touches, it is hard to pick a favorite, but I loved the farmhouse table vignette. The pumpkin with the quail on top. So cute.

  9. Debra, you home decor is absolutely stunning! I particularly enjoy all the vignettes you have creating using your collection of vintage items. Especially love those needlepoint pumpkins --- my diy sweater pumpkins pale in comparison! After five years of fruitless searching for vintage turkey platters, planters, and salt/pepper shakers locally, I'm thinking I may have to resort to eBay and Etsy. Have a happy holiday!

    1. Hi Chloe, thankyou so much, the little tree looks like oatmeal, (same color, varigated creams and light brown) haha.

  23. Debra, your home has come together in such a unified style. Your entry is the perfect bookend to give everyone a heads up of what's in store within your decor. The garden room/casual dining area reminds me of my previous sunroom, where the fun never stops with the seasonal decor. I love the grand majesty of the turkey and quail by the arrangement of tree branches, leaves on the garden table.
Here's hoping the best for you to be able to fully enjoy this wonderful late fall season in your beautiful home, with recent health matters resolved. Sending you prayers for healing comfort.
