Well, it finally feels like Fall around here. We had a line of storms come through Sunday and now we're down in the 50's for a high. The leaves are flying off the trees and I'm determined to get out this week for a country drive before all the leaves are gone! I hope you're enjoying your weeks of October too. It's an amazing time of year!

October Garden Room and the Baker's Rack

With October slipping through our fingers, November will be here in a quick minute. Then come preparations for Thanksgiving and before we know it Christmas is on our doorstep...literally. I love late Fall and Thanksgiving, so I'm not one to skip it and move directly to Christmas. I brought out my tubs for Thanksgiving goodies and started to clear off the Baker's Rack and wicker pieces when I realized that whoops... I hadn't actually shared the Garden Room since August.  

October Entry with the Snow Owls

Last week I shared a sweet little DIY on my Glitter Snow Owls that I made about 9 years ago, and use each year this last bit in October and early November. Fall is the perfect time for "owling" and I've been intrigued with them and vintage illustrations for years. I remember as a child living in the country, the unmistakable "hoots" before I fell asleep at night. And yes, they're a tad bit spooky so that fits in with this time of year.
