Spring Mantel and the Hearth Room

Hey there friends, I just realized I hadn't shared the mantel or the hearth room since January and I thought maybe a spring-y update was due.

I brought out my big sheep print before Easter with the sidekick concrete vintage friends and changed out the house lanterns and topiaries for my ceramic vases filled with faux tulips. It's been pretty low-key and simple on the mantel this spring. Here's a pic of the January mantel while I was still using a few Christmas leftovers. My new gold leaf and berry wreath for Christmas was just too pretty to put away in early January.

Now back to April and a simple spring look.

The medium sized ceramic vases from HL are filled with faux cream tulips and the vintage concrete sheep sidekicks are grazing about. I had a few more items up for Easter, but for some reason didn't get pics.

Old books are always around to add some height to the florals or topiaries. I bought these faux creamy/white tulips on Amazon and have used them the last three years. They look so real to me.

I wish I knew the history of this pair of old sheep. They are very old and have been repaired a few times. They must have been made for outside use as garden ornaments, but I would never leave them in the elements now, at their age.

Bunnies are still out and about even though it's after Easter.

My girls have always loved Peter Rabbit, so when I found the Peter Rabbit candle collection at Goose Creek Candle Co. I had to indulge a bit. This one is Carrot Cake and believe me it smells like it's a fabulous dessert straight out of the oven.

I like to keep some kind of décor on the armoire door for holidays, so I tried out the Wild Victorian Wreath I made a couple of years ago. It really stands out with the white frame on the dark wood. When I first started thinking about using this wreath I thought I might have disassembled it, but no, it was still intact. Thankfully.

Here's an early spring post in the Hearth Room where I share my quilt below.

And speaking of quilts, I found this little pale gray and neutral quilted throw on Amazon. The Birdies on a Branch lumbar pillow is a favorite of mine for after Easter. I've  mentioned it before, but this is my favorite spot to put up my feet, have a cup of tea and maybe even take a cat nap. This sofa is super comfy and relaxing.

The birdies are eating me out of house and home, and I'm now rationing the seed since the weather is nicer. I was filling up the feeder every day and honestly we have the fattest birds and squirrels around. I don't really mind though because we have such a wonderful variety of birds, but some of them are just wee piggies. But... I've not seen any chipmunks yet, so they may have migrated. We'll see. Hopefully they are still around the house. They are so much entertainment.

This isn't a sponsored post, I just love sharing the goodies with you all...
Hope you all are having a good week with good weather.
Here are a few more spring mantel posts.
