Summer Decor DIY at All About Home #149

Hello friends and Welcome to the
All About Home Link Party!

I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day and enjoyed some family time. We're still in the 90's here in Missouri, without rain for a couple of weeks. Way too hot for June. Even the squirrels get too hot by noon to raid the birdfeeders. They'd rather lounge on the patio chairs.

Thankyou all so much for coming by each week to share your lives and homes.
I love seeing all your great ideas and beautiful inspiration!

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

I love June decorating so I can bring out all the patriotic color. Vintage decor is much more fun with a  season or holiday in mind. I wanted to use a bunting on the hearth room mantel this year, but I ran into a bit of a roadblock...

The table in the casual dining area always gets the current seasonal treatement.
Time for a patriotic vintage theme.

Amber shared some great Vintage Patriotic Decor Inspiration

Here are some wonderful summer DIY decor projects,
a tablescape fit for a Queen,
and a fun patriotic decoupage jar tutorial.

This totally looks like the real thing!

A perfect container for the mantel to use all year...

Love this fun project using decoupage with a new twist...

I totally fell in love with these adorable commemorative place settings.

Thanks Everyone!!

  1. Debra, thank you so much for including my tea for the Queen in your features! I don't have a post with it yet, but I made your seed packet wreath this weekend. Not nearly so lovely as yours but I'm delighted with the results and will share (and link back to that post) soon, I hope!

  7. I also adored those plates and Jeanie's entire jubilee celebration! I'd be scared to death to attempt sharpie on a wall to create shiplap. Mine would probably look like a little tyke scribbled on the wall, and I'd be stuck repainting! That looks great. Thanks for hosting us, Debra. I'm in this week at #109 sharing my collected cottage decor at home.
