All About Home Link Party #148

Hello friends and Welcome to the
All About Home Link Party!

Summer has come down on us with a heatwave. Now, I know some of you all live in Texas, so you're used to the mid 90's in early May, but I'm just not acclimated for that yet. Watering container plants and shrubs has had me busy every day. A fun little miracle this week, is that I was able to see 4 little fledgling wrens leave their nest box and fly away with mom and dad. I'm a bird watcher for sure. I had a smile on my face for several days!

Thankyou all so much for being here each week
and sharing all your great ideas and beautiful inspiration!

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

I joined in on a Hop this week where we shared how we use galvanized and vintage tin items and containers in our decor and gardens. I had so much fun creating a garden display with a patriotic theme on the back porch with several of my old watering cans.

Earlier in the week I shared my wicker seating area in the garden room
that I have decorated for the July 4th holiday.

Amber shared her wonderful cottage garden with Galvanized containers.

Here are some fun summer vintage decor ideas,
a yummy gluten free dessert,
and a truly amazing DIY for countertops.

Such a cozy vintage space from Dee Dee at Clover House

An incredible DIY countertop from Wendy at WM Design House

Bookpages and botanicals from Penny at Penny's Vintage Home

Delicious summer yummies from Shay at What the Fork

Thanks Everyone!!

  7. Debra, I've certainly enjoyed all your wonderful patriotic touches shared on recent posts. Thank you! Yes, we here in TX unfortunately live with really hot weather, and this past spring brought the high temps earlier than usual. June has us dealing with triple digits already. It's going to be a miserably hot summer, and we desperately need rain.
    Thanks for hosting each week.

  12. Hi Debra! We are over 100 degrees here in Iowa too, and it's brutal. Very unusual for this time of June. We usually don't see this until late July and August. :-(
    Thanks for hosting!
