What's New in the Sunroom

I have a few more things I want to share this month,
because as of November 1, I will transition over to Thanksgiving mode.
After Halloween and before Thanksgiving I start gearing up for
da da da daaaaaa.....
Christmas... eeeck. can you believe it?

So here are some photos of the latest that's been added to the Sunroom.

Of course I had to hang my old black umbrella
where I can find it easily.
Never know what dark and rainy night
you might have to unexpectedly go out...

Then a few additions to the baker's rack for the end of October

I found this cute little "Fall" garland at the Ozark Fall Crafts Fair,
which was earlier this month.
It's been a tradition for my sister and I,
every year for the last 15 or so.

I always like to make little Fall gifts for family
so this year I used a page from an antique reader called
The Halloween Cat, then added a graphic from the 30's.

I have a little "thing" for sweet black kitties...

I found these wonderful hooked wool pillows at the Crafts Fair, too.
Love the great wool plaid tartans.
They'll be perfect when I bring out my late Fall blankets.

The lamb was a "special request". He's adorable!

Then my bird print changed for Fall also.
I'm ready for another walk in the woods for some bird watching.

I'm always sad to see October go.
It's my favorite month of the year.
Hope you're having a good weekend,

Linking up with Between Naps on the Porch

love ya'll,

  1. Debra, everything looks happy, fun and wonderful! I especially like the umbrella! I do that with a wooden cane that I bought when I had a broken foot. It's an antique, served its purpose for someone in the past, then myself, and now a nice touch hanging from an old shutter in our dining room.
    Hugs, Diane

  2. Debra, everything looks sooooooooo pretty. You do have such a special talent for showcasing all your treasures. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty

  19. Was looking at your last 2 posts, (to get caught up ;o), and it struck me that all of your photos look like something from a shelter magazine. You really need to be 'discovered' by HGTV or's just a matter of time. I really like the photos w/ the fall black ticking pillow, and the fall pictures you made from books & the wool throw, but everything is perfect!

  20. Debra, the sunroom looks great and I love family traditions! What a great craft fair!

  21. Hi Debra. It all looks so gorgeous and just like you I am early with Christmas makes me feel and act like a kid!

  23. You did such a lovely job making everything look so cozy and warm, with a Fall twist of course. I gave you a thank for featuring the ranch (I know it was a long time ago!) and mentioned your blog today. Have a blessed day.

  24. Debra, You have a style all of your own! So warm and inviting and so many wonderful things to see! I am a hooker... rug hooker and I am in love with our plaid, hooked pillows!
    I leave so inspired!

  25. Oh Debra, your sunroom looks so good. I'm in love with your idea of hanging the umbrella on the door...what a good idea :)

  26. Hi Debra! I always like to see the changes you make to the sunroom. Love the wreath and all the Fall decor. The lamb and pumpkin pillow are adorable.
