All About Home #161 Bring on Fall!

Hello Friends and Welcome to the
All About Home Link Party!

Thanks so much for coming by each week and sharing the fun things you're up to. Fall is such a great season for fabulous DIYS, decor, and recipes. The temps are down a bit and it's actually feeling like September. I'm even seeing some gold leaves on the oak leaves. I've been working on the front porch so I'm getting there!

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

This last week I had a nail biting few days as I had to rescue my blog from oblivion. It was the perfect storm of randomness that caused my blog to disappear from the Internet. It's back, but let me give a word of advice. Check your payment methods, have an auto-renewal of your domain name. know the date it renews, and check your spam for notice emails. All of mine failed. A conscientious young tech at GoDaddy worked with us for hours to get it back!

Last week I shared my September Early Fall Mantel  using Ironstone and Brown Transferware pitchers with dried hydrangeas.  Then later in the week I shared how to Cozy Up to Fall in the Hearth Room.

Amber is sharing her beautiful

Fall decor, DIYs, and recipes are really coming out now that it's September. Great by me!! This time of year there are so many wonderful posts that it's hard to keep up. This week we have a gorgeous dough bowl filled with neutral fall goodies, a super easy fall leaf look for a door basket, a beautiful early fall tablescape with pears, and a super fun book page pumpkin.

  3. I've had tech issues too, Debra. I've been trying to catch up and comment on your past two posts and Blogger hasn't let me. I think Linda has me fixed up! I hope so!

  5. Thanks for hosting, Debra! You might have just inspired me to at least take down summer's decor!

  6. Whoa, how scary with all those things aligning for a potential fail on the blog. Lucky you to get a good tech! With the weather cooling, suddenly I feel behind on home & garden. It's a good thing I already set much of my indoor decor and antique booths (#9, 10) before I feel the need to get back to the landscape, which is this week's main agenda with cooler temps. Your home looks nice and cozy, Debra, ready for fall and all its feels.

  7. Debra,
I finally made it over to share my post on Bats, Branches and Bows #40.
How scary to loose your blog. Glad they could get it back. Off to check mine.
    Have a lovely week.
    Hugs,

  8. That must have been so scary, Debra. I had received a broken link notice about your blog url, and I saw that your blog was down. I'm so glad you were able to get it back!

  9. Omigosh, not a half hour ago, a wonderful tech from GoDaddy by the name of Jorge (George) just did the same for me!!! It was a hellish two days. But, thanks to him, I am alive again, back up and running. That's the thing with technology; it's so wonderful when it works -- and we come to take it for granted. But, when something goes awry, it certainly does a number on our lives! I am so glad it was worked out for you too! Take care, and keep on keeping on! Smiles, Lind at Paper Seedlings

  10. Thanks for the party Debra. I'm sorry your blog went MIA & I'm so happy it's back since your images always inspire me. My blog was in nowhere land for a few days when I transitioned from Typepad to WP a couple of years ago. It was a nightmare but of course I chose to handle it all myself which was SO stressful. Now lets look forward to all the fun fall goodness. I love this time of year! XO- MaryJo
