Vintage Inspiration #101 Town and Prairie

Hi Everyone, welcome to Vintage Inspiration!

I've decided that I want to be a next door neighbor to Andrea from Town and Prairie. She and her husband love to rescue and "rehabilitate" curbside finds,  her family works together in their wonderful gardens, and she's quick to share her family values and Faith in God. Andrea would be the kind of person that I'd love to sit outside with and share a glass of lemonade; easy to talk to, forthright, and down-to-earth.

Here's our talented gal, now!

This is a photo from last Fall after a great table makeover.
She had me at the white painted table and pumpkins!

Here are a few more of her projects...

LOVE this wonderful hutch with the chicken wire door.

What better way to spend some quality time with the kiddos.
Little hands working in the garden with Dad.

And if you've been following Andrea,
you'll know of the Chicken Saga.
She's a "Prairie Girl" at heart.

She lives and speaks of her deep Faith in God,
so she's a gal I'm loving getting to know.

If you haven't met her, you'll enjoy the visit.

Need some more inspiration?

Brighton Cottage had a happy accident with her ASCP
while painting this wonderful Watchmaker's Cabinet

Hallway Transformation at the Poor Sophisticate
You just will not believe the "before" photo!

Erin from Just Grand took us to Napa and a beautiful wedding.
Just look what was one of the decor pieces there,
this amazing card catalog.

And the Town and Country Girls from Walnut and Vine
gave us a great dose of vintage red
with this wonderful kitchen stool and scale.

Rhonda from Blue Creek Home had the most number of visits
when she took us along for some booth fluffing at Emma Kate's Cottage

Having a little Fall with lunch...

Even though we all haven't dived into Fall with our home decor yet,
(OK, some of us have dipped our toes into it)
retail has to be a step ahead of the season.

So when my mom, sis, and her sis-in-law headed out to lunch last week
we wanted to try out the new tea room at The Vintage Veranda.

And of course shopping the store, The Vintage Suitcase, where Robin's touches of Fall are seen everywhere.

Robin creates the most beautiful floral arrangements and wreathes...
even the wildlife want to get in on the display!

Gorgeous Autumnal tones throughout the store.

Even a hint of Halloween

Just in case you need a "hand" with some creepy decor...

Don't you just love this great black and white Buffalo Check?

And just look at this yummy lunch. A quarter of the quiche pie, with a cup of delicious cream of roasted pepper soup. Oh so Delicious!

Be watching for more information on the upcoming Fall Open House, which will be September 14-16, with a new outdoor dining area in back.

If you're anywhere near Springfield, in SW Missouri you'll want to come visit. It's definitely a "destination spot"!

xoxo,
