Just a Little Christmas...

I'm working in the Kitchen China Cupboard this afternoon;
Changing out the Transferware from Brown to Red.
But I can't seem to finish that little project,
because I keep seeing things that I want to add to another spot.

Nothing is finished around here,
so I thought I'd just share some snippets
of what and who are celebrating with us this year..

The first thing I do when I start to get ideas
for how I'll be decorating,
is to decide on the table covering for the Dining Room.

then the centerpiece...

sometimes it has several different looks
until I come up with the "right" one.

Then I decide on the Entry Console..

The Mantel is always a challenge for me.
whatever it is, it needs to be big.

I like to keep the Kitchen Sitting Area
for my vintage Christmas goodies.

and it always has some Christmas Plaid!

OK, just taking a little break.
I need to get back to work,
so there will be a path for Hubbs
and the kitties by dinnertime.

xoxo,
Debra

  1. I can't believe I STILL don't have any plaid! I always love your Christmas decor because you have all that pretty vintage stuff that makes my heart go pitter-pat.

  5. I'm right there with ya, sister. I spent all day yesterday UNdecorating fall, and reorganizing those, along with things I've bought for resale (since March) away. Took all day and I was exhausted!

  10. Ha, ha, I'm laughing about paths. My grandson came and picked up a tree were giving him yesterday. Hubby helped him bring it up from downstairs and said, "everywhere I go I have to watch where I walk so that I don't step on something". I smiled and said, "that's how it is when I'm in transition mode. :) I love your little snippets. I have a tray and cake stand that match that speckled coffeepot. Can't wait to see more and looking forward to your Christmas party1 Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
