Finally...

So, do you remember this adorable chippy little medicine cabinet
 that I found back in...um...August...?

The perfect little chippy white cabinet...

I heard angels singing when I spotted it...

The one that weighed a ton...

The one that sat in my Dining Room until Thanksgiving,
then eventually moved on to the Hall Bath.
That was it's original intent...
to be in the Hall Bath.
The one I redid last year this time.

Yeah, that's the one...

Well, I finally got hubbs to hang it for me.
I really can't blame him for the procrastination...

It was me.

I had that silly cabinet all over the house looking for
...the spot.

And yes, it ended up right where I thought it should be.

It replaced this little Chippendale shelf above the "commode".

so...
now I have an adorable little chippy white
Chippendale shelf...
roaming the house...
looking for just the right
...spot!
dang

I'll be joining in on these parties this week:

Wow Us Wednesday at Savvy Southern Style
Blissful Whites at Timewashed
Treasure Hunt Thursday at From My Front Porch to Yours

  12. What a sweet little medicine cabinet! Lucky you. They were in all the older homes, including the one I grew up in - long gone now, of course. :-(

  14. Lovely piece and if it's heavy it must be old. They don't make things sturdy anymore like the good ole' days.
Thanks for sharing at the Cabin:)

  15. Yep, replace one piece and move that piece somewhere else or to the storage room. Same game I play all the time. Cute chippy cabinet.

  23. That cabinet is the best Debra. I painted and distressed an ugly old (Goodwill) mirror when we redid our bathroom last year (white, of course) and I'm loving it too. Lucky you it already came perfectly distressed for you! Love it.

  27. Debra,
Don't feel alone...we all do this. Buy something then think it might go better somewhere different...only to put it where you thought it should go in the first place. It's a charming chippy cabinet.

    Blessings,
    Linda
