Happy Valentine's Day Friends!
Here's the last round of Valentine's Day décor friends, with the sitting area of the Garden Room. This old crate gets a workout as it seems I use it almost every season. It's the perfect size for this old bench/coffee table, giving me room for a larger element and several smaller ones. I have so much fun decorating for the seasons and holidays; taking time to plan and curate my vintage décor. But have you checked your calendar yet this year?
I love my mossy basket filled with paperwhites this time of late winter into very early spring. It's too early for flowers, but I still keep out my small evergreen trees. Antique ironstone pitchers make a perfect vessel. You all know I love sheep and my favorite wooly friend gets a new ribbon to match the season and holiday. Small stuffed fabric hearts are perfect to nestle into a small vignette or shelf for some extra easy Valentine attention.
My mega vintage Valentine Russel Stover's red cardboard heart has another current candy box with some decoupaged nesting hearts stacked on top. The wicker settee is dressed in a quilted patchwork throw in hues of gray and light pastels. I found it on Amazon last year along with the gray ticking stripe pillow covers.
Here's a link to the Holiday Cupboard dressed up for Valentine's Day,
I love each holiday and have collected bits and pieces over the years. With St. Patrick's Day coming up I was planning what to bring out and where to focus my pieces. I checked my calendar to see when Easter is this year just to get a rough idea of a timeline, but wow, did I get a surprise... March 31!!
My last post I shared a vignette on the baker's rack that had a bit of a rustic vibe. So here's the rest of the baker's rack where I mixed valentines with a rustic, woodsy base.
As you can see, things shuffle around as I continue decorating.
My little sheep doorhanger is usually around for the holidays.
The little heart is vintage seam tape crocheted into a heart hanger.
As I mentioned, Easter will be here at the end of March.
So I better get busy. There's a lot of rabbits to wrangle.
Here's something for St. Patrick's Day fun.
What a sweet little vignette. Loved how you incorporated the paper whites and greenery into the vignette. Thanks for sharing.
