Gathered #2

Last week I started a new blog post concept; well, it's just new for me. Many bloggers have a weekly post like this, and I really enjoyed taking a few minutes to share with all of you some of my weekly finds across Blogland and Pinterest. These are just a few of the pics and posts that caught my attention; Gathered here for you.

I ran into these elegant, but casual Thankful Plates from Crate and Barrel.
They have a whole line of glasses, napkins, etc.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to make these yourself,
or for that matter write any message or word using some sort of permanent gold marker.
It would have to be waterproof and non toxic, but oh so pretty!

One of our favorite places to go for lunch and shopping in Ozark, Missouri.

They're known for their decadent desserts.
Yes...I split a piece of Snickers Cake with my sister.
It's every bit as good as it sounds!

Don't you love these chalkboard walls
filled with vintage architecturals and signs of the season.
Gosh, I'm glad no one grabbed a shot of me
with my mouth full and in full-blab mode.

Tearoom Daily Menu

Had to do a little shopping too!

Michele from the Nest at Finch Rest
shared her family's annual Great Pumpkin Carving Party
What a fun photo to remember the evening!

Michele's is the Happy Guy in the Rt. Lower corner.

You'll want to linger over this amazing visual post from 100 Layer Wedding Cake
of an outdoors Thanksgiving event. It will have you daydreaming of a
movable feast in the country.

I found this on Pinterest; a photo from Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2016.
I think this might be doable for those of us that collect vintage costume jewelry.
You would have to have a good glue, but wow,
isn't this fabulous?

And this Chalkboard saying from La Dolfina
that I think so many of us can relate to!
