Fall chicken feeder and a winner...

OK, last Spring I found this pint size chicken feeder, I suppose for a pint size coop. It sat out in the garage all Summer waiting for me to finally get around to sprucing it up, and when we finally managed to organize all my various and sundry boxes and tubs of "stuff" this weekend, I figured now was the time to "Fallify" this cute little galvanized "potentially adorable" bit of randomness.

Here's the "Before".
I mean hey,
look at that perfect little wire hanger already attached.

and...Perfect farm-y patina potential.

One thing I love about Fall decorating is that you can grab a bunch of miscellaneous floral "leftovers" and stuff it into almost anything and it works.

Of course,
I knew it had to hang from my old chippy picket fence gate
on the sunporch.

More sunporch fun coming...

And the winner of the Tattered Goods
$40 Gift Certificate is....
congrats Pam!!!

Don't forget that Monday Marketplace is live all week.

  18. The chicken farmer would be clueless here BUT we are decidedly not. It is feeding me much inspiration to pay attention when I dig through old barns as I mine and Joe's habit. Love it(**

  26. How precious! Fall IS easy to decorate for. I also love how farm objects blend so well with our homes. A farmer boy once told me he could take any object at his farm and sell it at an antique store (he saw a screen door go for "$80." (!) ) KIDS! They speak the truth, right?
