Robin's Vintage Suitcase

Short of you being here in person, there is just no way to share how beautiful this shop really is. When you step inside the door you are transported to a place of unique style and elegance. You may remember last Fall I shared several posts of Robin's Fall and Christmas Open House, which at that time was being held temporarily in the carriage house on her wonderful turn of the century estate.

Robin is now opening her new year round shopping venue, which is just a block away from her property, Humbolt Place, here in Springfield. Three areas in one store,  The Vintage Suitcase most resembles her Carriage House venue; then a new area, The Garden District that has the flavor of an Old World Conservatory. (I'll share this part of the shop tomorrow)  The Vintage Veranda is an elegant French furnished party room that can be rented for parties, showers, and wedding rehearsal dinners. (photos coming this weekend)

These are just a few photos to invite you to the Grand Opening taking place this weekend. Hope you can come and be a part of the excitement. Join Robin for hors d'oeuvres, dessert, and a toast to the new shops!

This is a link to Robin's website and blog

 Hope to see you there,

I wanted to let you know that I am featuring your window box on my blog later todsy. I saw that someone else featured you also. I think it was Angie from Knick of Time. It is such a wonderful piece I just had to. You well deserve the features!

  13. I can't wait for Friday night. I will most definitely be there. The pictures so far look lovely. Today on my lunch hour I stopped by 'Bellina's
Bungalow' at Pickwick/Cherry. It was as you said, a darling little shop.
I managed to find a couple of treasures to take home. And serendipity, I KNOW the owner. Julie is a great gal. And I wish her all the luck with her new little shop.
