Back Door Christmas

Hey, look who's here out on the deck...
My little goosey has made herself a Christmas nest
out of some greens and a wheelbarrow.

I "shopped" the garage for some fun outside decor

A skinny tree in one of my vintage bushel apple baskets

an old red ladder and some ice skates.
( I didn't even remember these ice skates
until I found them in a closet last week!!)
Note to self: organize and clean closets in January

Shhhhh....don't tell her, but she's just a plastic decoy...

She thinks she's mighty cute!

  4. I won't tell her but she is very cute. I love the display and that old ladders everyone is using for the holidays. I was at Olde Tyme Marketplace and she had an old sled for sale and I just knew it needed to be mine. Alas, not nice to buy myself gifts..haha

  7. Merry Christmas Debra to you and your family. I have enjoyed reading your blog from the country Christmas. Your Christmas goose is so cute. I like the picture of the old truck with the reef. I grew up on a farm so I have wonderful memories of the country Christmas. Have a wonderful weekend. A Missouri Friend.

  17. Debra,
Lovely vignette using your plastic decoy and your misplaced skates. I adore your note to self!Still looking for wooden candy canes I purchased TWO years ago! I've begun to organize tubs by color palette now instead of themes...and I'm going to card catalog each tub. I know...don't say it...but at my age, I don't have the time or the energy to look through all the tubs for 6 candy canes!!! Enjoy your Christmsa, dear one!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat
