Vintage Easter Inspiration this Week

I've hesitated to make any plans for a Vintage Easter Party
for Vintage Inspiration Friday,
as it falls on Good Friday.
And I really don't want anyone to think
that I think Easter is all about chicks and bunnies.

Hopefully we all know the real meaning of Easter,
just like we all know that Christmas isn't about Santa Claus,
so I want to be sensitive to our sacred beliefs this week.

A lot of us have vintage Easter decor and memorabilia,
so I decided that I should go ahead and plan a little get together
that gives us a place to share our vintage Easter.

I'd love for you to share your family traditions
and photos of childhood Easter celebrations.

And of course VIF is also for any other vintage inspiration,
not just Vintage Easter...
"anything vintage or vintage inspired"

 Celebrating Christ's wonderful Resurrection Day,
I send Blessings for Easter Week, dear friends!

See you Thursday afternoon
love,
Debra

  12. Hi Debra! I've never joined a linky party but I'm looking forward to yours! My mother had a 4 foot paper mache bunny that she hauled out every year to have pictures taken with us in our new finery. the rest of the year, he lived in the laundry bin in the basement...man I wish I could see him again! Just remembering that my wonderful mama had him, gives me permission to sprinkle a few bunnies around, even though for me, the Easter holiday needs to center around Christ! Looking forward to seeing everyone's pretties!

  17. I haven't attended any of your vintage inspiration parties cause I never have time to visit the party-go'ers (I quit attending all blog parties) but tghis might be the perfect time to play along. I can share my collection of vintage religious prints ...they stay up all year round but they're definitely suitable for the season. ;)
