A Little Bungalow Bling

Talent is a commodity that's not in short supply here in blogland,
but every once in a while you meet someone who has that something special.
Shelly is one of those talented and creative people that are innovative and a step ahead.

I've known Shell for over a year,
and recently she had a give away on her blog

Look who was the lucky winner!!

Shell works in several mediums
and this time she was making the most adorable fabric necklaces.

This is an extra goodie that she gifted me with.

Below, Irma is modeling my sweet necklace.
Shell makes everything to order; special just for you.

These are just a few of her other creative pieces that she sells.

wedding cake toppers,
party hats,
crowns,
every piece one-of-a-kind,
and gorgeous!!

Please go visit Shelly at her blog,
then be sure to follow her,
and bookmark her as a "favorite".

So the next time you have a special occasion coming;
birthday,
wedding,
graduation,
shower...
you can visit Shelly and order a special gift
that the recipient will treasure forever.

Vintage Inspiration Friday #22 Morning Tea and Romance

The sun decided to make an appearance today,
so what better place to have tea than in the sunroom!

I brought out my new sterling silver tray that I received from my sis for Christmas, (yep, she's one great sister!) and a pretty pink floral Staffordshire teapot, cup and saucer, and journal to start the day.

I've been putting a few new pendant pieces together for Valentine's Day.
 Lots of hearts and cupids...

and of course some blinged keys.

I love graphics from the 20's and 30's,
and found these sweet little postcards last weekend at Spring Creek.

For anyone local, I'm now selling my jewelry at Inspirational Home
and my booth at Spring Creek, in Ozark.

I've just listed these in my Etsy Store, The Petite Boutique
and have a few more designs in the works.
I'm lovin' these little Puffy Hearts!

Vintage Inspiration Friday# 20: Got some "Junk" in my Trunk

OK, I guess it's not junk
but I just had to say it!

I found this exquisite doll trunk a few years ago and used it for my jewelry display, but the trunk itself was, well... brownish-burgundy, and I felt that the wonderful damask mauve silk interior deserved something more feminine. I unearthed it from my garage last week and gave it about 4 coats of paint. The burgundy "bled" through, so now it's the palest shade of pink...just perfect!

I've been working on some Valentine things for my booth at Spring Creek, and bringing some of it into the decor this week. This little Paper Doll and hat box I found at Inspirational Home last year. I think we sort of look alike; she being muuuuch younger and maybe even more of a munchkin than me.(?)

I've been inspired by vintage ladies' pocketwatches and wristwatches,
so I decided to do my own take on them.
These are new battery operated watch faces
combined with charms and blinged keys.

I have a few Eiffel Tower charms added in,
and of course there are medals and crucifixes,
hearts, and keys.

even a birdie or two for Spring!

Come by and see what's there for Valentine's Day.
You can email me for a special made-for-you piece.
