Hi Friends, do your floral arrangements reflect the seasons and holidays?

 To me, keeping faux flowers seasonal makes them seem a little more realistic. 

July and mid-summer calls for a few sunflowers and black-eyed susans to be added to the mix of summer blooms. So the big ice cream bucket on the farmtable found some of their happy little faces joining the geraniums and hydrangeas.

Do you have a spot that causes you to be continually thinking about the next fun change-up? The farm table in the Garden Room is one of those spots for me. After all the Easter bunnies and forsythia were put away, I wanted to use this big bundle of white faux tulips before (real tulips) were a thing of the past. Spring flowers and shrubs just don't last long enough!

Christmas in the Garden Room part 1

I've had a reindeer "thing" going on this year. It actually started a couple of years ago, after seeing some mossy/twiggy type reindeer. I started looking but got waylaid by the house renovation and move. Then, when I started thinking about Christmas decor this year I got busy scouring around for one (or 2)

Farmhouse Table Vignette for Thanksgiving

Hey Friends, I hope you're having a wonderful late Fall weekend. It's been a gorgeous last few days with lots of sun, but the leaves are quickly falling and the lovely Autumn colors will soon be gone. I have a few more quick posts to share with you before Thanksgiving. They are mostly just a few areas that I've put together with quick and easy vignettes with some of my fine feathered turkey friends.

Fall Vignette on the Farmtable

I wanted to have a little fun this week with one of my vintage birdcages and a sassy little blackbird that I've had for a few years. He didn't fare very well during the move, as his cute little paper hat became unattached. I did the easy thing and used some transparent tape to get it back on. Don't look too close. He's almost good as new.
