Be Inspired #177

Hey Everyone...
Welcome to Be Inspired!
These weeks are rolling by and it's hard to believe that it's time for another Be Inspired party. You all have not let the winter pounding get you down. It seems that everyone has been busy finishing up some fabulous projects just in time for Spring. Here are some pics of some of that great inspiration from last week's party:

Sometimes a pic comes across that you can just "see" featured in a magazine. This amazing Black Accent Wall from Dawn at Down to Earth Style has it all... Love the gallery wall, the great contrast of elements, and of course that dramatic black paint. I dared Dawn to paint the rest of the room!

This Simmons Steel Dresser definitely has a past.
Check it out from Denise at Pink Postcard.

There were so many great ideas in this post,
but the Slipcovered Ottoman from
Jamie at So Much Better With Age says it all.

Want a Restoration Hardware look?
Try this Dry Brush Painting Technique
from Melanie at Lost and Found

Love this wonderful creation, Finding Direction,
from Lynn at Blue Skies

You'll enjoy seeing this Vintage Dresser
and meeting Victoria and her adorable little ones at
 Trois Petites Filles.

And a tutorial for Ribbon Roses
from Lynn at Shabby Story.
Lynn always creates such beautiful things.

Thanks so much gals, for joining in!

    Be Inspired #176

    Hi Everyone and Welcome to
    Be Inspired
Do you have big plans for Valentine's Day?
How fun to have it land on a Friday, for all of you "date night" peeps. We eat out several times over the weekend, so I imagine we'll do our regular Friday Night, "Movie Night" with some take out Indian Food. Movie Night consists of a Netflix choice and after dinner a large gray cat camping out on my lap for the duration. Miss Wrigley prefers something quiet and romantic, as she hates car chases and loud explosions. However you spend your evening, just let it be with the ones you love!

    OK, on to the party.
Let's check out some of the wonderful links from last week:

The always amazingly creative, Julia, from Vintage With Laces
made this wonderful Junky LOVE Sign

Leave a love note for your sweetie, with these Mini Love Letters
from Kerryanne at Shabby Art Boutique

This Secretary ReDeux started out needing all kinds of help.
The perfect challenge for Karen from Redoux Interiors.

How wonderful are these Personalized Grain Sack Cards?
    from Lori at Marvin's Daughters
I'm hoping she'll do special orders!

Laurie from Heaven's Walk found that her fabric stash was taking over her studio.
So she created this Vintage Blue Cabinet, which looks like a real vintage piece.

These are a great project; DIY Column Pedestals
from Poppy at With a Dash of Color.

    Need a special Valentine breakfast?
Whip up a batch of these yummy Scones and Jam
from Jeanette at Creating a Life

thanks gals for sharing the inspiration!

    Be Inspired #175

Hey Everyone, and Welcome to Be Inspired!

Are you all still in the deep freeze?
I guess there's no use in complaining...
I'm trying to remember what I love about winter,
but right now that concept is escaping me.
One good thing to do is to link up all your ideas and inspiration from last week,
and come hang out over here for awhile.

Honestly, there have been so many great links.
    You all are awe.some!
Here are just a few from last week.

Kim from Tidbits and Twine shared her Guest Room Makeover,
and I'm totally crushing on this wonderful black cabinet!

I was amazed with this Craft Room Reveal and
from Jeannine at the Concrete Cottage
    talk about "Creative"...

    Amber from Junkaholics Unanimous
shared her "Winter in the Cottage" Decor,
    ...love this chair.

Anne from Fiona and Twig  photographed a friend's wonderful Cottage.

This over the top gilt French Coat of Arms Sign from Olive Out really rocks!

We've been struggling with coming up with flat screen TV storage.
So check out the fabulous Triple Printer's Drawer TV Console
from Korrie at Red Hen Home.

And I do have to admit, this is one way to have some fun in the snow.
I love this winter picnic in plaid from Jann at Mrs. Olson's.

    thanks gals!

    Be Inspired #174

I felt totally out of the loop being away just one week! I missed seeing all your great ideas and decor from last week, and I'm in real need of some fresh inspiration! We're settling in to the lease house but have a long weekend of packing at the other house ahead of us. blah. But I DO need to find my Valentine goodies so I'll keep on a happy face. It's been so cold, all I want to do is stay home with a fuzzy blanket wrapped around me. OK, no whining...Here are some of the great links from the party two weeks ago.

Melissa from Shabby Love has a wonderful Home Tour,
that you won't want to miss.
