Home Tour 2013

Welcome to our home. We moved in to our 1982 house in May 2003, and immediately started redecorating. But it's been a work in progress since I started blogging in 2009. Here are some photos of the rooms throughout the seasons. If you've read Common Ground for long you'll know I love to change things up with seasonal decor and vintage finds. So some of these are from Fall, Christmas, and Spring. If you'd like to see the original posts just find the "Search this blog" and type in which room you're looking for.

  1. I am in love with your blog!!

  2. Oh my heavens, Debra.
    Just drooling here!

So much fun to see all your rooms in one spot. You have such a gorgeous way of displaying your collections and pieces. Great flow too -- keeping with one uniform palette of colors allowing one room to effortlessly flow from one to the next.

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with all of us bloggers!

  3. Deb, you have the most amazing house.

I think I could spend hours there looking at how well you have put everything together.

I like your style very much!

  4. You have a beautiful home! Lots of pieces that fit my taste perfectly! You can tell that you enjoy your surroundings and making a house a home. We have moved into a different home and I am slowly getting things just right....its always an adventure.

  5. Love your beautiful home !!! If you don't mind me asking what kind of paint did you use on the white suitcases? Love them :) I have several old train cases that I want to alter but, don't really know what kind of paint to use.

  6. I just came to your blog. Love your 'home tour'. Fabulous home, fabulous decorating. Do tell though, how do you keep your wreaths, floral arrangements and greenery dust free? I cannot seem to keep mine fresh and dust free for very long at all. You have inspired me to do a few tweaks. LOVE It!! Christina

  7. I loved the tour of your home....it is so lovely, warm and inviting. Could you share whether you made your slipcovers for your dining room chairs or if you had a source that made them for you? Care to share? Thanks. Toni
