The colors are fabulous for fall. Never thought to use my bee skeps during fall either. I need to find them! I have plenty growing just across the street so I will give you some of mine and just clip some fresh to use here this year and let it dry for next year's decor.Amber Lyon Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16787947120256227380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448019025261796302.post-30114792212854331182022-10-01T12:06:37.334-05:002022-10-01T12:06:37.334-05:00Catching up this weekend on my reading, happy to s...Catching up this weekend on my reading, happy to see your brown transferware and sheep. Your holiday cupboard is one of my favorite decor pieces of yours, just because of how you thrive (and we enjoy) showcasing your collections inside! The bittersweet is definitely hard to find, but I have a girlfriend who goes out and scavenges it every year. :) I still have most of my transferware in storage, but will be sure to bring those old friends out again by next year (we are soon to mark our one year in this house next week!). I don't know you Aesthetic maker, but it looks very similar to a platter I have. I have a Staffordshire reference book that I used to refer to, and it does explain how to read the diamond registry marks. Love the sheep. My flock stays out year round, I love them so, and they stay tucked away in an alcove near the powder room. They are smaller that a soup or stew tureen. Sounds really pretty. I have a few of them in random vintage patterns. They make for beautiful display pieces in vignettes. Oh how nice that you're getting pretty fall weather. We have a warm spell coming up this weekend, and we really need rain. I'm so looking forward to the leaves changing!Debra@CommonGroundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04830455848744270459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448019025261796302.post-45831437779813348502022-09-28T11:14:17.129-05:002022-09-28T11:14:17.129-05:00Your cupboard is gorgeous filled with the transfer...Your cupboard is gorgeous filled with the transferware and autumn pieces. I definitely need to collect more brown transferware! I have one piece that was part of my great grandmother's first set of dishes that I cherish. It's from 1880! It's been repaired but that just adds to the charm in my opinion. I recently found a small tureen in brown transferware that is so pretty - not sure what it would have been used for, it's too small for soup but too big for gravy! We're having wonderful fall weather after a terribly hot, dry summer. Such a relief. Jan in MAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
