The Holidays are Here at All About Home #119

Hello friends and Welcome
to the All About Home Link Party!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This will be a busy one for all of us as we spend time
 with our families this week,
and many of us will be starting on our Holiday decor
just as soon as we get the leftovers in the fridge.

Thank you for taking the time to come by and share
what you're up to this week. We always look forward
to seeing all the great DIYs, decor, crafts, gardening,
and recipes that you are all creating for the seasons.

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

I've been working slow and steady to get the house transformed to Christmas this last week. We'll be on our own for Thanksgiving, so I've been able to get started. I'm a messy decorator and start a number of places but it's taking me awhile to get things accomplished. I started in the Hearth Room and the Cookbook Cupboard was an easy place to finish. I like to keep it "kitchen and cookbook" themed, and it's a great place to use my ever-favorite Tartan Plaid pieces.

I wanted to share a few more pics of my Thanksgiving decor,
so I combined a lot of areas in the Garden Room for one big post.

Amber shared this fun post...

Here are some great Holiday posts
 from the link-up last week!

What a gorgeous idea, and so much fun to make.
Regina from Saved From Salvage

Love me an old chippy door; lead paint, not so much.
Julie at Restyle Relove

So many fun ideas, that smell good too.
Katie from Let's Add Sprinkles

I can't eat gluten, so I'd love to try these!
Kendra from Proverbs 31 Wife

Thanks so much, ladies!

  1. Debra, here we go. I'm like a gerbil on the wheel, moving from outside landscape interim makeover to inside unpacking (or, stuffing the remaining boxes in the closets for now) and decorating. Spin the wheel! Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for sharing all about home with us.
