Late Summer DIY's at All About Home #107

Hello friends and Welcome to the All About Home Link Party. It's the last week of August, (thank goodness!!!) and I'm so excited for September! Thank you for taking the time to come by and share what you're up to this week. We always look forward to seeing all the great DIYs, decor, crafts, gardening, and recipes that you are all creating.

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

I've been starting to transition from Summer to (early) Fall, without putting together an overdone and heavy look. I know I cause a lot more work for myself by doing this in stages, but I just cannot stand to look at heavy and dark texture, color, and florals when it's still so hot outside. So... I'm still using some sunflowers and lighter "warm" colors to make the transition.

Last week I was part of a group of bloggers who shared our ideas and tips for making that transition. I share photos from past posts (and houses) and some new pics which I'll be sharing in more depth with other pics. If you haven't had a chance to check out my post and visit my fellow "Hopsters" then take a minute for some great inspiration and ideas.

Earlier in the week I shared my last post on "Late Summer"
with my farm tabletop tableau.
Yep... I'm heading into Fall. YAY!!!

Please be praying for our dear friend Amber. She and her husband have Covid as of over a week ago. Her husband has been to the ER twice to receive care but released to go home. Amber has been at home but feeling pretty bad. Her boys have been isolating, but helping their mom and dad. We're praying for God's healing hand on all of them and for no long-term effects. Amber is just amazing, as she put together our Blog Hop last week, while she was really sick. This is her post from last week at the Hop. Thankyou Amber.

With Fall around the corner we're starting to see early projects and decor inspiration to get us in the mood and give us a head start on our Fall decorating. Here are a few fun posts from last week.

Julie from Restyle Relove gave us the totally easy and simple

Lee Ann at Creative Moments shared a
This is just gorgeous and she gives detailed
step-by-step photos and sources.

Katie from Let's Add Sprinkles has been busy
updating so many aspects of their rancher they bought last Fall.
She has so many great re-dos and has an adorable helper
named Caroline.

Lynne at Thrifting Wonderland shared her Fall Wreath DIY.
I love seeing other peoples ideas for making our own seasonal wreaths.
I love this double ribbon and she gives directions on how to get this look.

Thanks so much, ladies!
