All About Home #96

Hi Friends, Welcome to the All About Home Link Party. Thankyou for taking the time to come by and share what you're up to this week. I took a week off because of back surgery at the beginning of June. Last year I had cervical spine fusion... this year it has been my lower back. Thanks so much for your good thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate them! Thankyou Amber for hosting the party last week and for sharing a patriotic post of mine from last year!!

One more thing... Feedburner will be shutting down soon, so please sign up for email alerts on new posts if you haven't already. Sign up box is on the right sidebar.

Amber and I are excited to be hosting this weekly party
 that celebrates All Things Home.
We love to see what you're up to on Your blogs,
so please join in and share your inspiration.

A couple of weeks ago my hubby helped me get some containers ready for summer.
When these pics were taken they hadn't had a chance to fill out much,
but this week they're starting to look like they should;
A lot of bright fun color and texture.

This is a Patriotic post from last early July
that I'm using to give myself some inspiration for this year.
I have a few things I want to do different,
but it's giving me something to go with.

Amber did a fun early summer refresh in her gorgeous kitchen,
with a twist of citrus!

I can't spend too long in my computer chair, so I'm light on features this week.
But I did want to share this wonderful Patriotic Tablescape post from last week,
from Sarah at Hyacinths for the Soul
So many great patterns and ideas!

Thanks so much!

  7. Hope you're doing well! I also had a spinal fusion/laminectomy (lower back) about 40 yrs ago. No problems at all until about 5 yrs ago (scar tissue was irritating my spinal cord). Had some steroid shots in my spine, and now all is good again! 72 and zip-lining, ATV, parasailing and more ~ not so bad to get some steroid shots every 35 years! Hope you're just as lucky! .... 9. Good to hear you are done with that surgery, Debra! I hope you are feeling a little better each day. I remember you had spinal fusion surgery last year. How is that coming along? Did it take away all the pain? Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery!

    Many hugs to you,
