Falling For Autumn

I've been resting these last few days after a little scare I had earlier in the week, (click here if you don't know about the fun I've been having) but I've been wanting to share this great magazine photo shoot with all of you since it came out a few weeks ago. My good friends from Leola's Vintage Home and Garden were featured in the Fall issue of Vintage Style Magazine, and it's just such a fun look at their annual Fall Harvest Party.

Judy, Linda and Jan are sisters and Kelli is Linda's daughter,
 and they are some of the most talented gals in the biz-nezz!

I always enjoy their Open Houses,
 but it's no secret that the Fall Open House is always my favorite!






















 If you haven't yet picked up the magazine, you'll want to look for it. I found mine at Barnes and Noble. It's a wonderful issue, full of so many Fall ideas and inspiration. The Leola's Open House is scheduled for Sept. 5-8 in Ozark, Missouri.  Thank you all again for your love, prayers, well wishes and support. I'd love to personally email each of you with my love and gratitude, but right now that just feels a little overwhelming. Hope you know that I read each comment more than once and so appreciate each of you!

    Hello sweet friend... so happy to see a new post from you... I hope you have not had any more scares, and that the scare you were talking about it what is already over and done with... my thoughts and prayers have been of you all week... love this magazine and can't wait to get one tomorrow!... I know so many of the ladies have the really pastel and all white homes, (which I love), but I still absolutely LOVE the colors of Autumn!... and seeing these beautiful photos makes me love it even more... I read the first line about "living in the country" and Fall... I love living in my little country town and Autumn it is at it's most beautiful... now, I need to order me a beautiful Autumn colored plaid Pendleton throw!... oooh, and just look at those mums and pumpkins!... sigh... much love to you, xoxo Julie Marie

    "Mr. Ed's" maternal grandmother used to live in Ozark, Missouri!
    Beautiful countryside. . .
    especially in the Autumn when the sugar maples are turning gorgeous Autumnal hues!
    Glad to hear you're beginning to feel better.

    Glad to see you feeling up to a post. This is a lovely post full of inspiration for fall. It's still the dog days of summer here in Texas, but just today I picked up a pretty plaid April Cornell tablecloth and napkins in fall colors. I'm beginning to at least think of fall. '-)

    So happy you are doing better. I believe in the power of prayer so I am happy so many people including myself are keeping you in their prayers. We know it is overwhelming so you certainly do not have to answer everyone back. I don't think anyone expects that. Just know there are people that care about you. I am wishing the best for you.

    I'm so sorry....I've been so negligent lately about checking the blogs. I didn't know you were going through all of this. Hope you're feeling better. Thank you so much for always being so supportive of Leola's. We truly appreciate it & we'll look forward to seeing you (early). I always think about what they told our Sage after his heart surgery.....he was lucky because someone would always be watching his heart now & things won't sneak up on him & the same goes for you. You may have to go through this "stuff" but you always have excellent Dr.'s watching out for you (& God). Take care! Jan

    We've had beautiful weather this week with nice days and cool nights, getting ready for Autumn!! But, alas, the heat has returned, and how I wish it hadn't!! The pics from the mag are wonderful and yes, I want one of those blankets.........please continue to take it easy and don't worry about trying to respond to our good wishes, we want you to be well......hugs...cleo

    Debra, I am so thankful that you have come through this ordeal and are healing. I love these images. So hard to believe it is almost fall again. Although I am not ready to let go of summer quite yet, I think I am getting closer to wanting that autumn feeling. xo Laura

    I love that magazine and the fall pictures are beautiful. It makes me want to get the fall decorations out. The weather predictions for this week said 100+ temperatures. I'm really longing for the cooler days of fall! Hope you are feeling better. Take good care of yourself.

    We are heading to Big Cedar in October for our annual Fall getaway. We always stop in Ozark for a little looking around. I went over and Liked their FB page and will definitely check out the shop.
