Have you seen this new magazine?
It's a "one-time compilation" (so far) of wonderful tablescapes from Hoffman Media Publications taken from the pages of Southern Lady Magazine.
It's filled with wonderful ideas for setting a beautiful table,
with amazing photos and fresh inspiration.
Now, I'm the first to admit, I'm not a "tablescaper" in any stretch of the imagination. But I do love my collection of mismatched vintage plates, transferware, and silverware. With it's lovely outdoor settings, this magazine had me dreaming of idyllic garden settings and lakeside retreats.
It's grouped into "color" themes, and offers a wide variety from formal to casual to whimsical, all the while having me wish I had more space for dishware and all the accouterments that tablescaping requires.
"Over 125 creative ideas"
so true...there's something for everyone.
This one below with the wheelbarrow, had me excited to recreate the feeling of the bountiful garden delights of early summer.
I'll share with you this coming week, where it led me...
Hope you're off to a wonderful weekend.
And just in case you didn't realize it, my blog header is the thumbnails of my last week's posts. So check to see if you missed one; just click on the image and it will take you there.
xoxo,
Debra,

I've seen that magazine on newsstands but didn't buy it. I enjoyed thumbing through it though. It has beautiful pictures and great table setting ideas! I can't wait to see what you're going to do with the inspiration picture you shared.
ReplyDeleteWell, as long as there's no turtle in your vignette I think you will be fine. Looks like a great magazine. I'll have to check it out in the store.

Oh, I bought that magazine last week. It does have some awesome tablescapes. I don't often buy magazines anymore, but I couldn't pass on this one. I just browsed through it when I bought it, and haven't had time to really look at it. Thanks for the reminder.

Being the plate-a-holic that I am, as soon as I saw this magazine at the grocery store, it hopped right in my cart. I have been busy with porches and patios and haven't really looked other than a couple of quick browses. I have replication of a few of the tables in mind for future posts.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful book and so is your post.
What a neat magazine and clever idea. I love the concept. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSouthern Lady is one of my very favorite magazines that I subscribe to...I must get that special publication...So love gorgeous tablescapes!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing this magazine issue, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't posted these gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteDebra, thanks for the heads up on this publication. I'll try to find a copy today. I always like Phyllis Hoffman's publications.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for your header. I usually only get one post a week created, but this is a nice way to share if one has missed a post. I'm still dealing with issues of Blogger not updating my current post on sidebars, no feed, etc. I need some tech help. ;-)
Southern Lady is one of my favorite magazines and I saw this special copy at the bookstore but forgot to look at it...looks like I need to go back. I really love all the wonderful recipes that I have found in this magazine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Bloggers just love tablescapes. I do them every odd Tuesday on a red moon you know. I may need this publication.
